Govia is the most enduring partnership between transport operators delivering rail franchises in the UK

Govia is a joint venture between the Go-Ahead Group (65%) and Keolis (35%), two substantial and successful transport companies in their own right. Govia is acknowledged as the expert in delivering turn-around programmes for complex rail organisations. Through Keolis, which is part owned by SNCF, we have access to a world leading railway company.

Govia operates three major rail franchises, Southern, Southeastern and London Midland. It is the UK’s busiest rail operator, running 28.7 per cent of all passenger journeys.
